After an early breakfast, your private charter flight takes you southwest to the Masai Mara — 45 minutes that saves hours of road travel and delivers you directly into Africa's most iconic wildlife landscape. As the plane banks over the reserve, the sheer scale of the Mara opens beneath you.

Settle into your ultra-luxury tented camp perched on the Oloololo Escarpment, with views across the entire Mara basin. An afternoon game drive through Big Five territory — lions are commonly encountered within the first hour on the Mara.

Afternoon game drive to the legendary Mara River — the crossing point of the Great Migration. Even outside peak season, hippos line the banks and enormous Nile crocodiles patrol the shallows. Maasai warrior cultural experience at sunset back at camp.

Morning drive tracking the resident leopards through the riverine forest along the Talek River — these cats are unusually relaxed around vehicles in the Mara and sightings are frequent. Full day in the reserve with a bush picnic lunch delivered to the field.

Afternoon game drive as the light softens — giraffe silhouettes against the acacia trees, cheetah scanning the open grasslands, and the lion pride returning from the day's rest. Farewell sundowners poured on the escarpment as the Mara turns gold below.

Day 5 — Charter Flight to Tsavo West

Charter Flight to Tsavo West

One final morning game drive in the Mara before your charter flight southeast to Tsavo — Kenya's largest national park and one of Africa's great wildernesses. The contrast with the Mara is immediate: vast, ancient, and dramatically different — red volcanic soil, ancient lava flows, and baobab trees that look older than the landscape itself.

Arrive at your luxury camp set on the banks of a seasonal river deep in the Tsavo West ecosystem. Afternoon game drive for your first encounter with Tsavo's famous red elephants — their coats stained the vivid ochre of the volcanic soil, they are unlike any elephant you have seen before.

Tsavo West — Mzima Springs & Lava Flows

A full day in Tsavo West — one of Kenya's most underrated safari experiences. The morning begins at Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water emerges from ancient lava rock at 227 million litres per day. An underwater viewing chamber lets you watch hippos moving in slow motion through the current — one of the strangest and most remarkable wildlife encounters in Africa.

Afternoon drive through the Shetani lava flow — a vast black river of solidified lava that erupted just 200 years ago and still dominates the landscape. The Chyulu Hills form a dramatic green backdrop. Keep an eye out for the rare black rhino, which has been successfully reintroduced to Tsavo West.

Day 7 — Tsavo East — Galana River & Open Plains

Tsavo East — Galana River & Open Plains

Drive into Tsavo East — Kenya's single largest national park, a vast wilderness of open red plains stretching to the horizon. Where Tsavo West is dramatic and volcanic, Tsavo East is raw and elemental: flat, immense, and teeming with wildlife concentrated around the life-giving Galana River.

Game drive along the Galana — Kenya's second-largest river — where crocodiles sun themselves on sand banks and enormous elephant herds come to drink. Lugard Falls, where the Galana surges through a narrow gorge of sculpted rock, is a geological spectacle unlike anything else in East Africa.

Day 8 — Drive to Diani Beach

Drive to Diani Beach

A final morning game drive in Tsavo East before departing the red dust plains and driving south toward the coast. As you near the Indian Ocean, the landscape transforms — lush tropical vegetation, the smell of sea air, and the sound of the ocean replacing the sounds of the bush.

Arrive at Diani Beach — consistently rated among the finest beaches in Africa. White coral sand, warm turquoise water, and the gentle rhythm of dhow sails on the horizon. Check into your beachfront villa and let twelve days of extraordinary Africa begin to settle into memory.

Diani Beach — Three Days on the Indian Ocean

Three days of pure beach paradise on Kenya's most celebrated coral coast. Diani Beach stretches for 17 kilometres of uninterrupted white sand backed by coastal forest — entirely unhurried and spectacularly beautiful. The warm Indian Ocean water is clear and calm, protected by an offshore reef.

Each day is yours to shape. Snorkel the coral reef — a world of tropical fish, sea turtles and occasional dolphins. Take a traditional dhow sunset cruise as the sky turns amber. Visit Shimba Hills National Reserve just inland for sable antelope and forest elephants. Or simply do nothing at all — a hammock, a book, and the sound of the Indian Ocean.
