Fly from Arusha to Entebbe — entering Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. A private transfer south through the green Ugandan highlands toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most biodiverse forest in Africa. The moment the entire journey has been building toward. An early morning briefing at the park headquarters before entering Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with your ranger guide. The trek through the forest varies from one to six hours depending on where the gorilla family has moved overnight — it is always worth every step.

Then, the encounter. A full hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family — silverbacks, mothers with infants, juveniles playing in the undergrowth.
